Self Made Construction Approved Contractor for Keeping Pomona Homes Healthy Program

The KPHH Program, initiated by the City of Pomona, aims to address household hazards such as mold, lead, allergens, carbon monoxide, and more. Through this program, eligible households can receive assistance of up to $6,900 for necessary repairs and improvements.

The goal of the Housing Rehabilitation Program is to help low-income households who do not otherwise have funds, to repair health and safety items at their home. The Program is available to low-income families that meet the income limits. Qualified owners may receive grants of up to $10,000.
The City Council has approved funding using Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) funds that were allocated to the City of Jurupa Valley by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”).

This program consists of minor residential construction focused on saving energy for qualified homes. We perform on jobs such as window and door replacement, HVAC, minor plumbing and electrical, insulation, minor envelope and home repair, and other related work. We enjoy bringing comfort into peoples homes, and also helping them lower their energy bills. Starting in May 2014, Self Made Construction has been in contract with Blue Earth EMS, Inc. providing energy efficent electrical and mechanical services. We are currently providing contracting services for commercial businesses under various utility based energy efficency programs. We have worked in partnership with Pasadena Public Utilities, Riverside Public Utilities, Imperial Irrigation District, Colton Electric Utilities, and Azusa Light and Water. announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Castrovilla Inc. d/b/a Blue Earth Energy
Management Services™ ("BEEMS™"), is in the process of implementing an additional
$1.1 Million in utility funded refrigeration rebate incentives under its highly successful
"Keep Your Cool™" Program.
The proprietary "Keep Your Cool™" Program was designed to give electric utilities an
efficiency program targeting their business customers who operate commercial
refrigeration equipment. The utility supported Program offers energy efficient retrofits like
high efficiency motors, LED lighting and Refrigeration Control Systems, which help
improve a business' bottom line by increasing equipment life and lowering energy bills at a
low or zero cost to the business.
Since 2007 the Keep Your Cool™ Program has been supported and renewed by nearly 20
publicly owned utilities including the cities of Palo Alto, Roseville, Lodi, Redding, Santa

businesses have received energy efficient retrofits under the Program, receiving
